STRAWBERRY – LAGOON 440 – MAJOR REFIT 2026

The result will be a dramatically upgraded Lagoon 440 — mechanically, electrically, and aesthetically — combining proven catamaran stability with modern systems, premium comfort, and a completely refreshed interior and exterior identity.

Planned Upgrades – Refit 2026

Strawberry is being transformed from bow to stern. All toilets are brand-new electric units, supported by completely new plumbing systems, including completely new through-hulls and fully renewed pipework throughout the yacht.

Propulsion and sailing performance are upgraded to modern standards with two completely new Volvo engines, new saildrives, a brand-new windlass, and a new mainsail by OneSails, complete with a new mainsail cover and UV-protective sun membranes on both the mainsail and genoa.

Electrical and energy systems are fully renewed: completely new electrical installation with new cabling throughout, new solar panels, a new inverter, updated software, and a fully modernised onboard power management setup. Comfort upgrades include a new TV and a new espresso machine for relaxed onboard living.

Navigation is upgraded to a modern dual-station setup, featuring new Raymarine chart plotters — one at the chart table in the saloon and one on the flybridge — ensuring safe and effortless cruising in the Ionian Sea.

Exterior areas are fully renewed with a new teak deck floor, new sun pads, sun beds, and pillows, a new trampoline, a retrofitted flybridge, and new privacy glass installations for increased comfort and discretion. All cabins are equipped with fans for improved airflow and sleeping comfort. A brand-new large dinghy for up to 8 people with hard floor and engine, along with a new liferaft, complete the cruising setup.

The interior is being completely redesigned and decorated by professionals. All beds are new, while all wooden furniture is refitted and restored. The yacht receives a new main door, a new main window, new faucets, and a fully refreshed galley with new kitchen utensils and cutlery, plus new plates, glasses, blankets, sheets, and pillows. Each cabin is styled with its own theme, colours, and artwork, creating a warm, elegant, boutique-like atmosphere.

Exterior styling is refreshed with pink-themed stripes, giving Strawberry a bold and distinctive new identity that reflects her name and character.
